By 1970 these Christians, under the eldership of local businessman Bill Corkill, were meeting first at Castletown and then in Port Erin in the local British Legion Halls. A plot of land was purchased in 1979 in Port Erin, with this building being opened in 1980. It has subsequently been extended.

With assistance from the European Missionary Fellowship our first pastor, Pastor Brian Jones, was called to the Church in 1990. Over the next 16 years Pastor Jones worked hard to build up the Church. In December 2006 Pastor Jones was unexpectedly called to Glory after a short illness. In February 2007, we called longstanding member and Elder Phil Lo Bao as the next Pastor.

Apart from two Sunday services, we hold regular meetings for children and young people, a monthly Friends & Neighbours meeting (mainly for senior citizens) and undertake evangelism in the locality. This includes regular distribution of leaflets, door to door visitation, open air work and other occasional events such as Harvest suppers, quiz nights etc. At all of these the message of forgiveness of sin through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is explained. We believe in the vital importance of prayer and hold three prayer meetings most weeks.
